My Ride on a Ford Trimotor

I just realized I never mentioned the video I shot two years ago of my ride in a Ford Tri-motor when it came to the Manassas, Virginia airport.

I shot it entirely through Google Glass.

The aircraft is operated by the EAA and regularly tours the country offering rides.

Libraries are cool again

American libraries, the argument goes, are in crisis. They've had their funding cut, been forced to fire staff members, and close branches across the country. The Facebook "Situation"

Facebook rolled out some new "features" recently and a lot of people thought they were making a huge power grab for control of the internet, assume the right to define our online identities and traffic in the personal data 500 million of us entrusted to them. Facebook did a horrible job of explaining the advantages, disadvantages and over all ramifications of their moves.  This lead tech pundits to question their motives and their competence to keep our data and identities  safe.
